Installation
Installing SiteEqualizer is reasonably straight-forward apart from two points:
- Downloading and installing Microsoft .NET Framework v1.1 (if you don't have it)
- Activating your software (only done once)
Below you can see very clearly the steps involved in the setup process complete with graphics. If you experience difficulties and this guide does not answer your questions then please contact "support @ sitequalizer.com" and explain your problem.
After you have downloaded the zip file to your hard-drive you need to unzip it with a program like WinZip, or Windows XP's built-in unzip. This will present you with the single file seq-setup.exe, which is the SiteEqualizer setup executable file. You simply double-click on seq-setup.exe and it will begin the process of installation.

You then need to agree to the EULA then click Next. On the next screen read the short message about activation and click Next. If you would like to install the program somewhere other than the default, this is the screen where you set that. Otherwise, simply click on the Next button to install to the default folder path.

Unless the installer detects that you do not have Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1 or higher, that is basically all of the selections. Click on the Next button to confirm the installation and you will see a screen with a progress bar, as all the files are installed.

After everything is installed, the final screen show giving you the option of viewing the ReadMe file and launching the program. The ReadMe contains a link to the online Help and shows a support email address should you require it.

Activation
When you first start the program you will be faced with an Activation window. Simply click on the Submit Codes button (circled in red).

Once you have received you Activation code by email, simply copy it (Ctrl-C) and then paste it (Ctrl-V) into the Activation code (white box) on the Activation window and click on the Continue button (circled in red).

After you have clicked on the Continue button, a second Activation window appears. Make sure that you are connected to the Internet and just once more paste (Ctrl-V) your Activation code into the white box and click on the Activate Now button (circled in red).

That's it! You are now installed and activated. The next time you run the program it will simply start up and you won't need to go through this again.
